Q: Who is your target Market?
A: Anyone who’s in Joburg on a Sunday and loves food and design (and art and music and people and not being in a mall).
Q: What is The Maboneng Precinct?
A: It’s a development within City & Suburban*, an area that lies inbetween the CBD and Jeppestown, on the east side of Johannesburg city.
Q: Why on earth would you create a market in town?
A: Why on earth not? We’ve been working and living here for almost two years now and we love it, and we want the rest of Joburg to experience it as well.
Q: Will there be food?
A: Yes - it’s primarily a food market - see our list of stallholders so far.
Q: Will there be drinks?
A: Of course. Don’t miss Bloody Mary Happy Hour. It is Sunday morning after all.
Q: Movies for kids, really?
A: Yup. At The Bioscope next door.
Q: What if it rains?
